To no one’s surprise, DBR-Hicom – owners of Lotus – have terminated Danny Bahar’s employment and replaced him with Aslam Farikullah. The tenure of Dany Bahar at Lotus has not been an easy one. But now it’s over with DBR-Hicom ending Bahar’s supension with a termination of his employment.
General Motors on Monday said it is contacting all owners of the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid to reassure them that the car is safe as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigates a battery fire from a Volt that was crash-tested. GM said any Volt owner who had safety concerns would be offered a different GM car as a loaner vehicle. Executives also stressed during a teleconference that the battery issues were seen only in vehicles in the crash tests.
The Ferrari 599 GTO snapped at a private launch event
The rumour-mill has been running wild on the first GTO to come out of Ferrari in quite some time. We first heard news of a ‘Limited Edition’ Ferrari 599 in late October when we spoke to a guy who’d been invited to put a deposit on a ‘Special 599′.
